CASA to Bf 109 G-12 Conversion - Maiden Flight 2016

Postby HoHun » Sat Aug 27, 2016 9:12 pm

Hi everyone,

A restored CASA has just been rolled out in Germany - converted to G-12 status!

Before:

(I believe this might be the same two-seater in which Galland made his last flight in a Messerschmitt ... when he was advisor for the Battle of Britain movie.)

After:

Make sure to watch the video - funky strobe effects from the spinner, and they have a camera showing the rear-seat view in flight! :-)

Regards,

Cool. I tried to watch the film, but a manner of red light warnings came on. Does this make 2 G-12's in existence now.

Hi Invsible,

>Does this make 2 G-12's in existence now.

I had no idea there was another one. Where is it located?

It is a question, not a fact. The 605 motor came from Sweden, one would guess from an old SAAB J 21.
